Mannheim, 05 April 2024 – CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, is taking the next step on the road to a more sustainable world: With a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony with Sven Schulze, Minister of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt, the leading European producer of renewable ethanol initiated the start of construction of the first production plant of its kind for green ethyl acetate in Europe. Numerous guests from business and politics attended the event. With this project, CropEnergies is sending out a strong signal for the use of renewable resources and greater sustainability in the chemical industry.
Mannheim, 23 February 2024 – The Frankfurt Stock Exchange has informed CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, (“CropEnergies“) today, that its application for revocation of the admission to trading on the regulated market has been approved. As a result, the shares of CropEnergies (ISIN: DE000A0LAUP1) will no longer be traded on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with effect as of the end of 28 February 2024.
Mannheim, 5 February 2024 – CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, (“CropEnergies“) plans to withdraw from the stock exchange in the course of the public delisting tender offer of Südzucker AG (“Südzucker“) to the shareholders of CropEnergies. Therefore, CropEnergies applied for the revocation of the admission of all CropEnergies shares to trading on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 5 February 2024.

Mannheim, 17 January 2024 – The main shareholder of CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, Südzucker AG (“Südzucker”), Mannheim, has published the offer document for the public delisting tender offer to all shareholders of CropEnergies AG (“CropEnergies”), for the acquisition of all outstanding shares not already directly held by Südzucker, today. The offer document was previously approved by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority ("BaFin").
Mannheim, 10 January 2024 – After an extraordinarily strong previous year, CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, generated revenues of EUR 943 (previous year: EUR 1,177) million in the first nine months of the financial year 2023/24 (1 March 2023 – 29 February 2024). EBITDA decreased significantly to EUR 94 (previous year: EUR 267) million, operating profit was reduced to EUR 61 (previous year: EUR 235) million.

Südzucker AG is the parent company and main shareholder and currently holds the majority of the shares of CropEnergies AG. Accordingly, both companies have signed a delisting agreement today
