Supervisory Board appoints Dr Uwe Boltersdorf as COO
Mannheim, 20.02.2025 – At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of CropEnergies AG, Mannheim, has appointed Dr Uwe Boltersdorf to the Executive Board of CropEnergies AG with effect from 1 April 2025. From 1 May 2025, he will take over the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer (COO) from Jürgen Böttcher, who will retire on 30 April 2025.
Uwe Boltersdorf completed his doctorate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT in Oberhausen after studying chemical engineering at the University of Dortmund. He has over 20 years of management experience in the areas of production, process development and plant engineering in the international chemical and processing industry, including from his work at Bayer AG, Lanxess AG, thyssenkrupp AG and Sulzer AG.
